We have lots of great memories growing up in the Midwest in the ’50s and love how friendly and down-to-earth people are there. You will feel such a sense of peace in this quiet neighborhood with mature trees and trails flanking the lovely Stillwater River. You will greet lots of friendly people as you are out jogging, riding your bike or just taking a stroll. The highlight of this house is a magnificent picture window overlooking the ravine. A host of brightly colored birds visit our squirrel-proof birdfeeder year-round and provide endless hours of entertainment. Entertaining is a breeze with the newly remodeled kitchen and spacious living areas. Cooking is a breeze with plenty of counter space, new appliances, and lots of cabinets. This sturdy brick house stays comfortably warm in winter and cool in the summer. The lower level with a family room, bedroom, bath, and laundry room, opens out to the back deck with patio furniture. We've prepared the space to be vacant for your use if you choose to park inside rather than on the driveway. Please note: there is no remote for the garage door opener, that was lost by a previous guest. Upstairs each of the spacious bedrooms boasts a Queen sized bed, smart TV and nightstands, the two smaller rooms have closet; however the closet off the master bathroom we've had to reserve for our cleaning service to store their supplies so we've provided rolling hangers for anything that you'll want to hang as opposed to storing in the dresser. The master bath has a garden tub as well as a walk-in shower, double sink vanity, and is more than large enough to get lost in if you're not careful (just kidding, but it's pretty big). A perfect retreat at the end of a long day. Our price includes cleaning prior to check in and after check out; however, if you'd like a mid-stay cleaning, linens changed, etc., we're happy to schedule those services for you for an additional fee (we have to pay the cleaner). If our space is available, we recommend booking immediately as dates do not stay open long.
